KRIMS Skin & Laser Clinic a center for advanced dermatology organised “Sparsh – Skin Care Workshop by Dr Tulika Arbat” on the 29th of October 2018. The workshop was attended by more than 50 aestheticians from all over Nagpur. It was organised by KRIMS Hospitals in collaboration with one of the renowned marketing firm Brandy’s.
The workshop was intended with educating the various aestheticians about skin care and its clinical aspects. Dr Tulika Arbat, who is a Consultant Dermatologist specialises in Advanced Dermatology Procedures was the chief speaker. She began by presenting a talk on Basic Skin Care which covered causes and management of various skin problems like acne, skin darkening, hair fall, excess facial hair and so on. Followed by a talk on special skin care tips for salon treatments like threading, waxing, facial, bleaching etc. She also stressed on how important it is to undertake advanced dermatology treatment if you are suffering from any sort of skin disease so that it does not become too late for you . KRIMS Skin & Laser Clinic have the facilities of Chemical Peeling, Radio Frequency Laser, Electrocautery, Derma Roller Therapy, Diode & Nd:Yag Laser, Acne Treatment- Scar Removal, Treatment For Hair-loss And Alopecia areata, Treatment Of Keloid And Hypertrophic Scars, Botox, PRP, Fillers, Skin Biopsy and Allergy Tests which are exclusively a part of advanced dermatology and skin care. “Patients nowadays are very conscious about their skin and appearance. Proper skin care is not just a sign of vanity but also of a good health. Increased stress, irregular schedules along with environmental pollution have lead to many skin problems, which affects a person’s self-confidence deeply. This workshop gave me an opportunity to talk about various skin problems along with dealing with them along with advanced dermatology care. The aestheticians got to know the finer details of how to address basic skin problems before they refer the patient to the doctor clearing their major confusion” said Dr. Tulika Arbat. The educative sessions were followed by an energy filled talk by motivational speaker Mr. Nityanand Tiwari.
The program was well appreciated by the aestheticians and various salon owners who attended the workshop. Each delegate received a workshop certificate. Looking at the positive response, we plan to organize another workshop in January 2019”, said Ms. Ketki Arbat, Director KRIMS Hospitals.
